I think that what one has to look at is that there is as many stars in just our galaxy as there is grains of sand on a beach & thats as far as you can see.
Take a look at the Ursa maja deep field shot from huble telescope & all you can see is galaxies & no stars.

Do you really think that the Earth is the only planet with intelligent life on it?
There is also many new extra solar planets showing up in our galaxy that we never knew existed. One such case was with a Star Trek fan that trained his telescope on to Epsilon Eridani & noted a wobble of the star. A wobble of a star denotes that a planet is circling the star. Epsilon Eridani is Mr Spocks home star, so the planet was called planet Vulcan.

We have only 58 years of space flight under our belts & what we have done in that time is nothing short of fantastic. What if beings from another planet have 150 or more years under their belt. \\\\\\\\\\what wonders would they have already found, wonders that at the moment, we can only dream of.
Doubters of UFOs argue that the nearest star is many light years away from the Earth. However, who knows what type of propulsion systems that they may have at their dissposal. Certany chances are that its not the same as ours.
NASA scientists & astronomers now talk of worm holes in space, as yet these have not been proven to exist, nore that they dont exist. Also they talk of bending space, another one that there is no proof of but that does not mean that it cant be done.
We can now almost get a space satalite to travel at the speed of light, so whats next for the future of space travel.
Then there is the other side of the argument. What if UFOs were not from space but from Earth its self. Two diferent ideas have be put forword
Idea 1
UFOs come from the sea. Man knows more about space than he knows about the sea. 'Fact'. It has been banded about that there may just be some ancient civilization at the bottom of the deepest seas. Do I believe this? Very doubtful.
Idea 2
Man in the very near future have found a way of time travel. The UFOs that we see today, are actualy crafts that men from the future is traveling in from their present to their past, which just hapt to be our present. Do I believe this idea? Hmmm.......Interesting isnt it?
95 % of all UFO reports can be per year ruled out as natural ocurances. Secret plains. Satalites. Iridian flairs. The International Space Station. Planet Venus on a cloudy night, also now, flying lantens. However, what of the other 5% each year that cant be explained? Hmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!
