UFOs over Norwich

I have read in news papers of late of a rise in UFO sightings over Norwich.

http://www.ufodigest.com/norwich.html

http://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/content/news/story.aspx?brand=ENOnline&category=News&tBrand=ENOnline&tCategory=news&itemid=NOED13+Aug+2007+10%3A25%3A45%3A30

Have anyone been lucky enough to see one.

Unfortunately I have not, as yet.

Best Wishes

Eddie

Re: UFOs over Norwich

Strangely enough, The 'ufo' picture on the first link (the one without the castle) Looks very similar to something i saw a few years ago, I spotted it in the sky, told the other members of the family who were in the garden at the time, We all saw it!

It was so far away the binoculars didnt bring it any closer, I would say from my position it would have been North walsham area, I wouldnt have taken much notice but a silver object hanging around in the sky for that amount of time isnt something youd expect to see, In fact we watched it for  quite a long time until we got bored with looking at it!!

Weather Baloon or a UFO, who knows, but it wasnt something you see everyday!.

Re: UFOs over Norwich

Hi Bluezephyr

There have been cases like this happening before. Strange object in the sky for ages & then the people getting bored & leaving before the object moved.

One thing that would be certain, it would not have been a plane as it would have moved.

Weather balloons usualy move with the winds. Unless of cause they are tethered from the ground, in place.

These are usualy more likely to be advertisment balloons though. Rather than weather balloons

One thing though that you can say for certain, you have seen a UFO.

Unidentified Flying Object.

Now if it was of an alien origen, thats the interesting part.

Best wishes & wellcome to the forum.

Eddie

Re: UFOs over Norwich
There is a relatively new group based in Norwich called UFOREA, UFO Research East Anglia. UFOREA is a friendly and open-minded group that meets on a monthly basis to socialise, research, collate and debate information regarding all UFO related subjects that include:-
  • Unidentified Flying Objects
  • Atmospheric Phenomena
  • Astronomy/Cosmology
  • Exotic Power Sources
  • Paranormal Activity
  • Mythology & Beliefs
  • Time & Dimensions
  • Alternate Realities
  • Earth Energies
  • Optical Effects

UFOREA also arrange speakers, sky-watchers, visit places of interest and encourage its members to pursue their practices and beliefs with the support of other like-minded people. The group doesn't have an agenda other than the interests of its members and giving them an opportunity to meet in a friendly location with other non-judgemental individuals.

More information visit the group online:-  uforea.org.uk
