FREDERICK JOHN BETTS ... He lived in Saxlingham Nethergate  and died 21/7/2001 . I think his birhday was about 3 may. any help would be grateful. thankyou. .    Report

Im not related but I am researching my own family.  I find FREEBMD very good, I took a look and found a possible match.  Frederick John Betts born June qtr 1916 in Norwich, mothers name Ives. Not sure where you are in the country, but perhaps a visit to the church, perhaps find the local reverend he may well remember or have details on family relatives, you could try to see if the deceased has a grave stone then try the local masons they may well have details on the person who requested the head stone, i see you have placed a request on the local forum, ask for help on the above details. If you saw it in a local paper get intouch with them to see if they have details on who placed the add...    Report
