Confused [*-)] why can't I recycle

I would love to do my part in recycling but I am not allowed to I live in a council flat and they collect from the houses in my road but as I live in a flat the council will not collect from me I have even left a recycling bin which I obtained from the council in the place where they told me to but it was left and when I asked why I was told that they do not collect from any flats in norwich which I know to be a lie because they collect from my friend who lives a 1/4 mile away in another flat served by the same collector and council Sad [:(]

Get in touch with City Care , they are the ones who are contracted to do this ...and being well paid for the priveledge.   Never heard such a load of rubbish....keep at them. I reckon your collector is a bit of a `jobsworth, but remember its you who are paying his wages!.

Laugh, and the wife laughs with you. Snore and you`ll sleep alone.

Try and buy as few items that are recyclable as possible, and pop the few items that are recyclable into your friends recycle bin. The 1/4 mile walk will do you good, give your friend the opportunity of offering a friendly gesture, and a chance to pick up the odd piece of litter or help an old person across the road as you go. It looks like you have a great opportunity coming from what seemed an unfortunate situation.

Do you have any used ink cartridges???? or old mobile phones? I visit www.therecyclingfactory.com and do all my recycling through them......have a look - hope this helps

You could take your recyclables to a recyling centre near you- search on the internet where is your nearest one. And keep nagging the council!
