Anyone remember Horsesport.com

Hello everyone.

Towards the end of 2008, there was a launch of a website called Horsesport. This became the biggest and most visited equestrian directory on the internet.

Due to problems with the then owner, the web builders closed the site down.

However, I have now bought the site and have asked them to redesign and rework it for me. Being Norfolk born and bread, I know how much a part of life a horse can be and want to be able to share and help people find what they are looking for. As well as informing and keeping people up to date with events and shows localy and nationally.

There is a holding page showing at present but we are hoping to have it go live within the next couple of weeks.

The idea is to offer an equestrian directory where you will be able to find anything from stable builders to hay suppliers. There will also be a marketplace where you can advertise your horse for sale or buy tack and other equestrian goods.

We will also have a global community forum where you can communicate with like minded people from around the world or just down the road..

So please bookmark www.horsesport.com and come and have a look and join in.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Nikki

Hi there, thanks for the information on Horsesport.com, I'm an Equine Sports Massage Therapist (www.flightequinetherapy.co.uk) and i'm always interested in new places to advertise. I have just moved to this area ( East Anglia) and re-building my client base during a recession is proving to be hard!! Will be in touch when its up and running! Kate.

Kate,

Hi and welcome to Norfolk.....we are working hard to get the site back online bigger and better than before with the best directory and classifieds on the net. We have hired the best SEO company in the region, Metalfrog Studios in Norwich, to ensure the site is at the top of the directories in all the search engines.

We would certainly love to have your business on the site and hope the new venture does well.

If you go to www.horsesport.com and request more information, then we will be able to update you regularly as to the progress and ensure you are one of the first businesses to be listed.

Good luck with the new venture.

All the best

Nikki
