My line goes back to John Shaw and Alice Notley married in KIlverstone in 1778. I've been to Thetford Library and have the parish records, but where John was from has been scribbled out, on both the bann's and the Marriage licence. Would anyone have any idea's as to how I can find out where John was from, or has anyone any information on the Shaw's either from Kilverstone, or from when they moved to thetford around 1830.
