Do You Remember Mactavish (Swannington Riding School)?

I'm a Norfolk-born writer working on a book about childhood and ponies, and I'm trying to find stories about a real character called Mactavish whom I rode in the 1990s. That's us at Costessey Show Ground, getting ready to do our thing in the handy pony (I think we came third).

I know that he was owned by Swannington Riding School for a while, and possibly by the Peruzzi family (Mr Peruzzi once stopped me when I was out on him and told me "That pony's older than you think"), but Tav had a long life and so I have a lot of years to fill in!

If you came across Tav or have any stories or leads about him, please let me know. He was approx 14hh, and we thought he might be a Highland, though as you can see he was more the colour of a Highland cow than a Highland pony.

Ah, my mistake, it was Willow Cottage Riding School, in Swannington.
