Favourite books? Have your say here

As part of the EDP and Norfolk County Council’s Our Big Month campaign in June we asked library users throughout the county to name their favourite classic East Anglian book. Here you can comment on the choices and add your own.

My goodness, no Arthur Ransome? Does the Big Six or the Coot Club not count as classic?

I Walked By Night.       Edited by Lilias Rider Haggard.   The memories of a Norfolk Poacher....a real classic of days gone by.  Dek.

Any publication by Keith Skipper gets my thumbs up. The bumper book of Norfolk Squit is a particularly amusing read.

Seconded, Dek.. I lived for several years on his patch and then there were several of us who followed in his footsteps and also 'walked by night'. Some older residents knew him and confirmed it was a non-fiction work.

Hasta La Victoria Siempre !
