28/08/2008, 4:20 PM Windy Joined on 26/10/2006 Posts 3 18th Century Railway Employees Norfolk Hello I am trying to trace my great grandfather Francis (Frank) Allen.  He was an engine fitter on the Railway.  Can anyone tell me if it is possible to search the Railway Archives.  He lived in Norwich, but I have a death certificate (which I am sure is his) where his place of death was Great Yarmouth in September 1875 aged 32..  He was lodging there at the time of death.  I guess it is possible he was working away from home at the time.    Report
